We've barely gotten out of the gate and we're already off and running with sampling some products that we cannot wait to tell you about! Just so you all know, we aren't willing to recommend just ANY product to you. If we wouldn't eat it, we won't even try it - and that means you won't hear about it from us.
Now that we got that out of the way, here are two products we feel strongly about - as in we LOVE!
Being the self-proclaimed chemists in the kitchen that we are, we know it's not that hard to make our own ghee. However, we haven't ever tasted a ghee with the flavor, feel and look of OMGhee - not to mention, it makes much less mess when you're ordering it online. We're not kidding you when we say that it smelled like they had accidentally filled our jars with butter toffee when we opened them. A spoonful may have immediately made it's way into Tonja's mouth.
This brand was created by two life-long friends and built out of a passion for ghee. In talking with one of the owners, Mitul, we immediately sensed this passion. Considering we are crazy passionate about food in general, we knew we'd get along with this guy. And it doesn't hurt that we like his ghee.
Speaking of passionate...
Hoot Owl Coffee Co.
Instagram led us to this product, as Ben, the husband of The Urban Poser, had posted about it several times. Ben knows his coffee and his "espresso pic of the day" makes that pretty obvious. For this reason, we had to try it.
Andrew and Ashley sent us each 3 different kinds of their beans and over the past week or so we've been testing them out in both cold brew and as bulletproof coffee. We have our favorites for sure - but what drives us to love this coffee even more is, you guessed it, passion. Take a product that you love, learn all you can about how it is sourced and processed and do it better. Hoot Owl Coffee Co. has done just that.
Now for the part you've all been waiting for! The giveaway! How about a big jar of OMGhee, 1 pound of coffee from Hoot Owl Coffee Co. and an AeroPress brewing system. Never heard of an AeroPress? It's a manual coffee brewer that takes 30 seconds or less to make a clean, concentrated cup of coffee! (We both really want one!)
